A Quick Easter Update

I’m a little behind the curve on an Easter post, but I just thought I’d share one cute decor project to celebrate spring. J’s mom The Easter Bunny sent us a wonderful package full of yummy treats and Easter goodies. In the box were a handful of paper eggs.

I immediately knew what I wanted to do with them. I pulled out the tiny wooden clothes pins from my Christmas card project and chalk board table display project and hung the eggs up in our front window. It turned out adorable! And for about 2 minutes of work and $0, I’d say it was a complete success.

I don’t want to take these cuties down. I’ll have to think of something that screams summer to put in their place. Any ideas?

Dove into some fun new projects today – love finding beauty in unexpected places.

I made a trip to Good Will today, and for a mere $10 I found myself a few good projects!

Milwaukee has given us an early taste of spring, so I decided it was time to change up the framed words in our basement. “Merry and Bright” just doesn’t seem to capture the mood of sunshine and springtime. I picked up some brighter scraps of fabric and turned to my good friend Tom Petty for some inspiration… love this song!

I wasn’t a huge fan of the design on these magnetic storage bins, so I threw a couple of coats of chalkboard paint on the outside (leaving the original neon inside intact), scribbled a little note in chalk, and there you have it – a set of new, versatile storage bins for my office!

I’m not 100% sure where they’re going to go, but I’m sure I’ll find just the right place for these guys! Love!
